2023 Kia Seltos facelift to launch soon in India; Check details
The updated Seltos was introduced by Kia last year in Busan, South Korea, and the model going to India will have the same improvements.

Digital Desk: The facelifted Seltos is expected to launch in the Indian market by Kia. The 2023 Kia Seltos will be the midsize SUV's first significant facelift, and it will have numerous inside and exterior modifications. A release date has not yet been specified.

The front fascia has been updated with a new grille section, headlights, and LED daytime running lights. The exterior updates are completed with new alloy wheels, LED tail lights connected by an LED light bar, and a redesigned bumper and tailgate, among other things.

A panoramic sunroof, smart cruise control, highway driving assistance, a 360-degree video system, a TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System), six airbags, VSM (Vehicle Stability Management), and other technologies are included in the new list of standard features. The standard gear lever will be replaced in the AT variants by the brand-new 10.25-inch digital instrument console.

The 2023 Kia Seltos may be the first vehicle in India to offer the entire complement of ADAS-based driver assistance and safety technologies, such as front collision warning, lane departure warning, and automatic emergency braking. A new 1.5-liter, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine with a maximum torque of 253 Newton meters and 160 horsepower will be available.

It will replace the 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which generates 140 horsepower and 242 Nm in the present model. It can be coupled with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The 115 horsepower and 144 Newton-meters of torque outputs of the 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine and the 1.5-liter diesel engine, both of which are currently offered, will remain unchanged.
