If I'm not mistaken, no manufacturer has ever dethroned them from the top spot
in the Indian market for more than two decades, if not longer. The tale of the
number two place, on the other hand, is rather different. It appears that the
market and competition begin only at the second position.

Indian market. The competition for the number two spot in the Indian market is
now fierce. Hyundai India is working hard to maintain its market dominance,
although Tata Motors, which ranks third, is rapidly decreasing the gap between
second and third place with each succeeding sales report.

with a year on year growth rate of more than 54 percent, while Hyundai India

    But
we are still wondering if Tata Motors can overtake Hyundai in sales in 2022
itself or will it happen in 2023?
