Digital Desk: In India, Lamborghini has presented the new Urus Performante hyper SUV. The Lamborghini Urus Performante made its global premiere in August and is now available in India for Rs 4.22 crore (ex-showroom).
The 2018 Lamborghini Urus Performante has a more pronounced bonnet and bumper design. Because of its significant use of composite materials, the car has the most carbon fibre parts in its segment. The optional carbon fibre roof pays homage to Lamborghini supercars like the Huracán Performante and Super Trofeo.
The new black front air intakes improve engine cooling while emphasising the SUV's super sports origins. A new air curtain directs the passage of air over the front wheels. The Urus Performante's rear downforce is increased by 38% kudos to a newly developed rear spoiler. The Urus Performante's reduced stance is highlighted in profile by its substantial front and rear wing and bumper, which adds 25 mm to its overall length.
Inside, the cockpit comes standard with Nero Cosmus black Alcantara, a new hexagonal seat stitching style, the "Performante trim," and additional choices such as a leather interior. The Performante trim is extended on the doors, roof lining, seat backrest, and rear wall, with further Ad Personam customisation featuring inside matt carbon fibre elements, red door handles, and a bespoke kickplate with the Ad Personam logo. The black Alcantara/leather steering wheel is accented in matt black, as is the black anodized aluminium inside trim.
The Performante's power is boosted by 16 CV to 666 CV, but its weight is decreased by 47 kg, giving it the best weight-to-power ratio in the class of 3,2. The Urus Performante accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and brakes from 100 km to a halt in 32.9 metres. It produces 850 Nm of torque at 2,300 to 4,500 rpm and has a top speed of 306 km/h.
