Digital Desk: The Congress Working Committee (CWC) was constituted by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge for the first time since he took charge as the chief of the party.

Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Shashi Tharoor, Sachin Pilot, Randeep Surjewal, and Kumari Selja are among the 39 members of the CWC.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadhra, P Chidambaram, Manmohan Singh, Salman Khurshid, Jairam Ramesh, KC Venugopal, Naseer Hussain, Alka Lamba, Supriya Srinate, Praniti Shinde, Pawan Khera, Ganesh Godiyal, and Yashomati Thakur are also members of the CWC.

Gaurav Gogoi, a member of parliament from Assam, has also been appointed as one of the members of the CWC.

Meanwhile, Mallikarjun Kharge has named 18 permanent invitees.
