Digital Desk: The 37-year-old Portugal international player Christiano Ronaldo and his 28-year-old partner, Georgina Rodriguez, were expecting twins.
Their baby girl survived, and her birth "gives us the strength to live this time with some hope and happiness," they both stated.
They penned a heartfelt note saying, "You are our angel, our baby boy. We will always love you."
"It is with our deepest grief that we must report that our newborn boy has passed away," they stated in a message on social media.
Ronaldo and his girlfriend Georgina wrote a post saying, "We are all crushed by this loss, and we respectfully want privacy during this terrible time."
In October, the couple announced their pregnancy.
