Digital Desk: LPG cylinder prices were increased for the second time this month on Thursday (May 19). The price of a domestic LPG cylinder has increased by Rs 3.50, while the price of a commercial cylinder has increased by Rs 8.
From now onwards, domestic cylinders will cost more than Rs 1000 in most cities across the country.
With the increase, a domestic LPG cylinder would cost Rs 1003 in Delhi and Mumbai, Rs 1029 in Kolkata, and Rs 1018.5 in Chennai from today.
Previously, the price of a cylinder was increased by Rs 50 on May 7. Notably, the commercial cylinder has become too expensive with the hike, like the domestic cylinder.
