Suresh Raina retires from all formats of cricket, including the IPL

color:#252525">Digital Desk: On Tuesday, Suresh Raina declared his retirement
from all cricket competitions, including the Indian Premier League. Raina, a
crucial member of the four-time IPL champion Chennai Super Kings, was not
purchased during the initial 2022 auction.

color:#252525">The left-handed batter spent many years as a mainstay of the
Indian squad and was also a member of the team that won the World Cup in 2011.
In all three of the game's formats, Raina has represented India, but his
contributions to white-ball cricket stand out.

color:#252525">The left-handed hitter scored 5615 runs at an average of
35.31 in 226 ODI games for his country, with his top score coming in at 116 not
out. In terms of T20Is, Raina participated in 78 games and amassed 1065 runs.
Additionally, he was the first Indian player to reach a century in the game's
shortest format.

color:#252525">On August 15, 2020, the same day MS Dhoni declared his
retirement as an Indian cricket player, the 35-year-old announced his
retirement from international cricket. It has been an honour for Raina to play
cricket on behalf of his country and state, he said in a statement on Tuesday
via his official Twitter account.

color:#252525">After thanking the BCCI and Chennai Superkings, among others,
the left-handed batter went on to declare his retirement from all formats of
the game. He also expressed his gratitude to the supporters for their
unwavering belief in him.

state of UP. I would like to declare that I am leaving all forms of cricket.
