Digital Desk: The High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination, 2023, is due to begin on Friday in Assam and will be held in accordance with the New Education Policy (NEP).

In terms of NEP, the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) has implemented new adjustments in four important disciplines.

The four subjects impacted by the modifications are Mathematics, General Science, English, and Social Science.

According to SEBA's latest modifications, these four subjects will each have two answer sheets. The first answer sheet will include eight pages of objective-type questions, while the second answer sheet will include sixteen pages of descriptive-type questions.

The HSLC exam will be taken by up to 4,23,000 applicants this year. The exam will be held from March 3 to March 20 at 912 exam centres, while the practical exams were held on February 24 and 25.

Furthermore, the exam results will be available within two months of completion.
