    Digital Desk: The UPSC CSE exam has been postponed due to the schedule of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. The new date of the preliminary exam is June 16, 2024. The exam was originally scheduled to take place on May 26. On February 14, 2024, UPSC Notification 2024 was made available. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced on its website that it has chosen to move the civil services preliminary exam from May 26 to June 16.

    "Due to the schedule of the impending General Election, the Commission has decided to postpone the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination – 2024 which also serves as screening test for Indian Forest Service Examination, 2024 from 26-05-2024 to 16-06-2024,” the commission said in a notification on its official website.

    One of the most difficult exams in India is the UPSC civil services examination. Every year, a large number of candidates seek to take the exam to become IFS, IPS, and IAS. The UPSC 2024 announcement was made public this year on February 14 of last month.
