    Digital Desk: The 69th National Film Awards were announced on Thursday at a press conference held by the jury at the National Media Centre in New Delhi. Anurag Thakur, the Union I&B Minister, received the list of winners for the best script, non-feature, and feature categories from the National Film Awards jury members.


    For the 2021 awards, a total of 280 films in 28 different languages were submitted. There are 24 non-feature film categories, 31 for feature films, and 3 for screenplays about films.

    Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon shared the best actress award on Thursday for their respective roles in "Gangubai Kathiawadi" and "Mimi," while the Hindi film "Rocketry: The Nambi Effect" received the National Award for best feature film. The Telugu movie "Pushpa: The Rise (Part I)" won best actor for South superstar Allu Arjun.
