    Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Bell Bottom’ screened at the world’s highest mobile theatre

    Mumbai: The world’s first highest altitude movie theatre opened in Ladakh, India. To bring cinema watching experience to most remote areas, a mobile theatre situated at an altitude of 11,562 feet was introduced in the Paldan area of Leh in Ladakh.





    Superstar Akshay Kumar’s starrer ‘Bell Bottom’ was screened at the world’s highest mobile theatre at Leh in Ladakh on Sunday.





    To announce it, Akshay Kumar took to Twitter and shared a picture of the yellow mobile theatre and wrote, “Make my heart swell with pride that ‘Bell Bottom’ was screened at world’s highest mobile theatre at Leh in Ladakh, at an altitude of 11562ft, the theater can operate at -28-degree C. What an amazing feat.”





     The film ‘Bell Bottom’, released on August 19, is based on plane hijacks that took India storm in the early 1980s.





    The film, directed by Ranjit M Tewari, stars Akshay Kumar in a lead role, Lara Dutta Bhupathi, Vaani Kapoor, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and others.





    Apart from BellBottom, Akshay Kumar has movies including ‘Raksha Bandhan’, ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘Atrangi Re’, and ‘Prithviraj’ in the row.
