Akshay Kumar donated approximately Rs 1.21 crores to the Haji Ali Dargah. Suhail Khandwani, Managing Trustee of the Haji Ali Dargah Trust and Mahim Dargah Trust, along with his team, extended a warm welcome to Kumar and shared the donation details on Instagram. Their post read, "Haji Ali Dargah's renovation work is ongoing. Bollywood superstar Padmashri Akshay Kumar, a true Mumbaikar and dedicated philanthropist, generously contributed ₹1,21,00,000 towards a section of the renovation expenses."
