Amber Heard cancelled her Twitter account after ex-boyfriend Elon Musk took over the platform.

Digital Desk: Many Hollywood celebrities, including the Aquaman actress Amber Heard cancelled their Twitter accounts after Elon Musk acquired Twitter and took over as CEO after completing a $44 billion takeover. Amber had recently lost her slander battle against her ex-husband Johnny Depp. Following that, she was ordered to reimburse Johnny $10.35 million

On Twitter, an account labelled 'That Umbrella Guy' tweeted a screenshot of Amber's Twitter account with the caption, "This account doesn't exist." "Amber Heard has deleted her Twitter," the post read. One person responded to this information by writing, "So glad she is taking care of herself." "Ex-boyfriend Elon urged her to erase it," said the second commenter. "She can't afford the monthly charge to retain her checkmark now," a third individual wrote. Many people speculated on why she deleted her Twitter handle. It is still unknown why she left Twitter.

Amber began dating Elon Musk after her divorce from Johnny and made news in 2016. They both kept their friendship under wraps. After a year of dating, they divorced in 2017. The couple reconnected in 2018 but discontinued their relationship after a few months.

Many Hollywood superstars, including Sara Bareilles, Ken Olin, and Toni Braxton, have recently deactivated their Twitter accounts.
