Digital Desk: One of the most talked-about things regarding 73-year-old Tamil superstar Rajinikanth is his energy and vibrancy. When his most recent mega-hit, "Jailer," was released, Raj Bahaddur, his best friend from Bengaluru, divulged the secret.

Raj Bahaddur explained to the media that Rajinikanth gets energy from meditation. He meets sages while visiting the Himalayas frequently. To stay calm and young, the sages will feed him specific medicinal plant roots. Once that root has been consumed, it will provide energy for a week. He said that it will provide the body with energy.

"Because of this, Rajinikanth is 73 years old but appears to be a man in his early twenties. Film following film shows him to be more animated and lively. The swag has never decreased. A unique medicinal plant root that provides him with energy,"

Raj Bahaddur said. 

He went on to say that every Rajini movie is a festival. "Yesterday, Rajinikanth called and requested me to watch the film and provide my review. Others will just compliment him on the film's quality, whereas I will provide him with accurate criticism. That's not something I'll do. For 53 years, he has been a buddy of mine. I speak the truth without fear and give my honest opinion. It's something Rajinikanth is aware of,"  he said.

"Rajinikanth goes to the Himalayas to pray after each movie's premiere before returning. For four years because of his illness, he was unable to travel to the Himalayas. He left earlier this year. As there was severe rain in the north when he called, I told him not to go. But he does, no matter what, what he decides," he said.

"Of Rajinikanth's box office hits, 'Basha' is my favourite. The same can be said for Rajini, who played the role of Jailer at the age of 73 and still maintained his cool. This movie is going to make history, just like "Basha," he stated.

Rajinikanth is a Kanndiga who lives in Tamil Nadu. Rajinikanth holds the Kannada language in the highest regard. He has made sure that Shivarajkumar, a superstar in Kannada, will appear in the Jailer film. We have been friends for more than 50 years. I was the driver and he was the conductor, Raj Bahaddur stated.

"Fans scream when I enter theatres and believe Rajinikanth has come to see the film personally. Rajinikanth is aware of that and has frequently advised me to exercise caution," he continued.

At the Jailer pre-release event, Rajinikanth spoke at length about his relationship with Raj Bahaddur and recalled how it was thanks to him that he was able to break into the film industry.
