Mumbai: Giving a big relief to Aryan Khan in the drugs-on-cruise case, the Bombay High Court exempted him from appearing in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) office every Friday.
The 24-year-old had filed a petition, seeking the bail conditions.
In his petition, he argued, “During his weekly visit to the NCB office, he is surrounded by the media and has to be accompanied by the police personnel. As the probe case has been shifted to a special investigation team (SIT) in Delhi, the weekly visit to the NCB office in Mumbai could be relaxed.”

However, the court has decided that whenever the Delhi SIT probing the case summons Aryan Khan, he will have to appear for questioning. Also, if Aryan Khan wants to leave Mumbai, it is mandatory to inform the investigating officers.
On October 2, the NCB arrested Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Gomit Chopra, Nupur Satija, and Vikrant Chhokar from an alleged rave party on a cruise. The NCB has accused Aryan of possessing, selling, and purchasing banned drugs. He was also accused of conspiracy and abetment.
Further, on October 28, he was granted bail by the Bombay High Court after finding multiple loopholes in the NCB’s case against him.
