Aryan Khan's business debut, partners with world's largest brewer to launch a vodka brand in India
Aryan Khan, Shah Rukh Khan's son, is starting his first new enterprise, starting with a premium vodka brand...

Digital Desk: Aryan Khan, Shah Rukh Khan's son, has launched his first venture into business just days after declaring his cinematic debut as a filmmaker. Along with his partners, the 25-year-old intends to develop a premium vodka brand in India. He and his associates have partnered with the world's largest brewing firm to do this.

Aryan stated last week on Instagram that he would be making his entertainment debut as the director and showrunner of a series he wrote. Greetings poured in from all sides, including Shah Rukh Khan's father. Aryan, unlike his father, has said repeatedly that he has no interest in acting. But, like his father, Aryan is moving into new business ventures.

According to a Mint report, Aryan and his two partners, Bunty Singh and Leti Blagoeva, plan to launch a premium vodka brand first and then grow into the brown spirits sector. For this, they formed Slab Ventures, which collaborated with the local arm of Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), the world's largest brewer, on distribution and marketing. Aryan told Mint about his business initiative, "We thought there was a kind of hole in the existing space." And where there is a hole, there is an opportunity, and I believe that business is all about opportunity."

According to the report, Slab Ventures is targeting the country's most affluent consumers and wants to diversify further with additional premium consumer segments such as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, fashion, and accessories. "The idea was to kind of mix great quality, a youthful disruptive perspective, and cool aesthetics under one roof, and by doing so, appeal to both the more mature, discerning consumers and the younger generation," Aryan explained.
