Deepika Padukone to play 'Lady Singham' in Singham Again, First lady officer in Rohit Shetty's cop universe

Digital Desk: It's confirmed! Yes, Deepika Padukone will officially be introduced by Rohit Shetty as the first female police officer in his wildly popular policeman franchise. The Padmavat actress will debut in Ajay Devgn's Singham Again as Lady Singham.

This information was revealed by Rohit at the song debut for his forthcoming performer Cirkus. In the song Current Laga from the Ranveer Singh movie, Deepika makes a spectacular guest appearance. Alongside her husband, actor Ranveer Singh, and director Rohit Shetty, the actress attended the formal song debut.

The main event highlight was hearing about Deepika joining the police world. For many years, it was rumoured that Padukone would join the series. Finally, Rohit made it official by saying that Deepika will appear in his cop universe in the next action films starring Ajay Devgn.

The popular Singham series' third installment is titled Singham Again. A day before the release of the Cirkus teaser, Singham Again made its formal announcement. The fight against social ills by Bajirao Singham (Ajay Devgn) will continue in Singham Again. After Sooryavnashi, an Easter egg for Singham 3 was added. This time, Ajay will have to fight Jackie Shroff and put an end to terrorism.

Bajirao Singham, Veer Sooryavanshi, and Bhalerao Simmba (played by Ranveer Singh) make up Rohit Shetty's cop world (Akshay Kumar). It will be interesting to see if Deepika has a significant role in Singham 3 or just makes a brief cameo appearance. Deepika's solitary cop actioner will be eagerly anticipated by her admirers as well as Singham Again.
