Mumbai: On Wednesday, actor Armaan Kohli, who was arrested in a drug case, was sent to 14-day judicial custody by a Mumbai court .
After being sent to judicial custody, the 49-year-old actor moved for bail application before the court as Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) didn't seek his remand.
Armaan Kohli was arrested on August 28 after NCB recovered drugs from his house in Juhu during a raid.
On September 1, at the end of his NCB custody, the Kohli was produced before the court.
According to the statement of NCB, it has seized over one gram of cocaine from the actor's residence during the raid.
Moreover, the police have arrested five others linked with the case, including two Nigerian nationals, for supplying Cocaine from South American countries.
The actor's name came to light after questioning Ajay Raju Singh, a major drug peddler, who used to supply drugs to the actor.
The police report said that Ajay Raju Singh, in a statement, claimed that he sold drugs to Armaan Kohli multiple times in the past, and also Kohli has brought drugs from another drug peddler who is on the run.
