    Digital Desk: Another addition to the award list as, 'Footprints On Water,' starring Adil Hussain, was named 'Best Debut Film' at the New York Indian Film Festival (NYIFF).


    The film was judged by the Film Critics of India and was written by Neetha Syam and directed by Nathalia Syam.


    On Wednesday, the NYIFF's official Twitter account declared, "Celebrating an Extraordinary Journey! Footprints On Water wins the prestigious title of "Best Debut Film" at NYIFF, as acclaimed by the Film Critics Circle of India. This enthralling masterwork has left a lasting imprint, stirring emotions with its rich tale and stunning performance.”




    In a tweet, actor Adil Hussain offered his thanks and congratulations to the rest of the film's crew, writing, "Absolutely Delighted and thrilled to announce that Our Film #FootPrintsOnWater wins the Best Debut Film at the @ nyindianff #NewYorkIndianFilmFestival2023."     'Footprints On Water' is a film that tells the story of an illegal immigrant father in the United Kingdom who searches for his missing daughter while attempting to stay off the radar of the police.
