Mr. Chandrachud has officially proposed the second senior-most judge of the Supreme court as his
Mumbai: The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) stated that Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez received gifts worth crores from conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
ED has filed a 7,000-page charge sheet against alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, his wife actor Leena Maria Paul and six others in a ₹200 crore money laundering case.
As per the reports, Chandrashekhar revealed during the questioning that he had gifted a horse worth ₹52 lakh and a Persian cat worth ₹9 lakh to Jacqueline Fernandez.
Moreover, the actress Nora Fatehi's name has also been mentioned in the charge sheet. Reports stated that the conman gifted Fatehi an expensive car. ED has already questioned both the actress regarding the case.
Actress Nora Fatehi had previously issued a statement distancing herself from the money laundering case.

"Nora Fatehi has been the victim around the case, and being a witness, she is co-operating and assisting the officers in the investigation. We want to make it obvious that she has not been a part of any money laundering activity. She does not know or have any personal relationship with the accused and has been asked by the ED to assist with the inquiry strictly," the statement stated.
The probe agency has already filed the charge sheet in a Delhi court in a money laundering case. It was claimed that Chandrashekar extorted ₹ 200 crores from a businessman's wife while lodged in Tihar jail.
In the investigation, Sukesh claimed that he approached Tihar jail staff with crores of rupees to continue his extortion racket from the jail. Five senior jail officials were held for helping Chandrasekhar to manage the extortion racket.
