Digital Desk: Kangana Ranaut again come into headlines after she reacted to the news of Ranbir Kapoor playing Lord Ram in the upcoming film 'Ramayan' by calling the actor a "skinny white rat."

According to rumours, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will play Goddess Sita and Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana.'

Kangana took to Instagram to voice her opinions about the film's casting.

Have a look at what she posted on her Instagram-

Kangana wrote a long note and criticised the casting for the film.

"Recently, I am hearing news about another coming up Bolly Ramayana... Where a skinny white rat (so-called actor) who desperately needs some sun tan and conscience he is infamous for doing nasty underhand PR about almost everyone in the industry... known for womanising and drug addiction after desperately trying to prove himself Lord Shiva in a trilogy (which no one watched or want to make more parts of) has now grown fancy to be Lord Rama..." read her insta post.

"Whereas a young southern superstar who is known to be self-made, a devoted family man a traditionalist also according to Valmiki ji description he looks more like Lord Rama in his complexion, demeanour and facial features... is offered to play Ravana...What kind of Kalyuga is this?? No pale-looking druggie soy boy should play Lord Rama .... Jai Shri Ram (folded hands emoji)." she further added.

Later she also posted quoting a danger sign GIF "If you hit me once I will hit you till you dead!!! Don't mess with me stay away!!!!"

Entertainment news firm Pinkvilla quotes a source citing that Alia was the top pick for Ramayana. It was noted that the dates couldn't previously meet due to various reasons, but after the project was delayed, Nitesh and producer Madhu Mantena opted to go with Alia.

According to reports, Ranbir is currently performing look testing for the project at the DNEG office. According to the source, Yash may soon sign on to play Raavan in the film. The film's official announcement is scheduled around Diwali this year.

However, Kangana Ranaut is always in the eyes of people for giving her statements on the Bolly Industry, on the work front she will be seen in Tejas, Chandramukhi 2, Manikarnika Returns: The Legend of Didda and The Incarnation: Sita.
