Mumbai: After battling cancer, actor-politician Kirron Kher returned to ‘India’s Got Talent’ with a fresh season. On Wednesday, the ‘Dhadkan’ actress took to Instagram to share the good news about Kirron’s return.
The 69-year-old actress, who is undergoing treatment, joins the judges’ panel along with Shilpa Shetty, rapper Badshah and Manoj Muntashir.
Shilpa Shetty sharing the video, captioned it, “BTS on IGT ?? Garma Garam… First day, first show with the NEW JURY: @kirronkhermp @badboyshah @manojmuntashir.”

In the video, the actress was seen focusing on Kirron’s necklace and joking that she came here only to look at her jewellery. Shilpa was requesting the Kiron to adopt her only to inherit her accessories.
“Mai toh kehti hu adopt kar lo mujhe, Sikander (son of Kirron Kher) thodi pehnega ye” she said in the video.
In reply, wittingly Kiran said, “Usko pehenni padi toh shayad wo bhi pehan lega”
As soon as the video surfaced online, Shilpa’s post was flooded with a barrage of laughing emoticons. While some fans said, ‘Awesome’, many welcomed Kirron Kher back after her cancer battle.
Earlier, Kirron Kher’s husband, Anupam Kher, confirmed that the actress had been diagnosed with cancer.
Taking to social media, he wrote, “Sikander and I would like to inform everyone that Kirron has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. She is currently undergoing treatment and we are sure she will come out of this stronger than before.”
India’s Got Talent is one of the most popular and longest-running reality shows on the small screen. It happens to be the Indian adaptation of the international ‘Got Talent format. The broadcast dates of season nine of India’s Got Talent are yet to be announced.
