Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) busted a rave party onboard a cruise ship in Mumbai. The operation started on October 2 and continues.
NCB Mumbai Director Sameer Wankhede stated that eight persons, including Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, are under probe. They are being questioned in connection with the raid.
So far, eight to ten individuals have been detained, and the team seized huge quantities of drugs from the spot.
The agency's Mumbai zonal director, Sameer Wankhede, got a tip-off, after which he and a team boarded the ship, acting as passengers.

However, when the ship left Mumbai banks and was at mid-sea, a party started where drugs were taken, stated sources. Following this, NCB officials on the boat began conducting searches, finding those consuming drugs and seized the contraband.
The entry fee simply for the party was in the range of Rs 1 lakh, an officer informed. As a result, some celebrities, DJs and social media influencers have been detained. Moreover, the party organizers and cruise line agents have been summoned.
"It's a result of a thorough investigation that went on for two weeks. We acted on special intelligence information, involvement of some Bollywood connections has come to light," NCB chief SN Pradhan said media.
Last week, in a joint operation, NCB's Mumbai and Goa units held Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal's partner from Goa connected with a drug case. The bureau further seized charas from him, according to sources.

Gabriella's brother Agisilaos Demetriades is of South African nationality and was arrested by the NCB last year, too, as part of its probe into the alleged narcotic usage in Bollywood.
The NCB had started a probe into the alleged drug usage in Bollywood after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput in June. The central agency had previously held Rajput's friend, actress Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, some employees of the late Bollywood actor and a few others under sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
