Digital Desk: A social media storm has been sparked over Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi's remarks about feminism. The actress recently shared her opinions on a podcast, saying that she believes feminism has deceived both men and women and has had a terrible impact on society.

"This idea of I don't need anybody. Feminism. I don't believe in this s**t. In fact, I think, feminism f**ked up our society completely, " she remarked in an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia's podcast.

Nora Fatehi went on to say that she disagreed with women who decide not to get married or have kids. "Everyone brings something to the table. If you are bringing to the table money, food, shelter, I need to bring to the table kids, being a mother, taking care of the house, cooking, etc. If we are bringing the same thing to the table, then who's going to bring the other stuff?" She continued.

Nora Fatehi expressed her support for women to pursue occupations and lead independent lives, but she also said that freedom should have limits, saying that one must be prepared to take on protective roles in society and be able to provide for others. "Many men no longer wish to engage in it. Many guys nowadays have likewise been brainwashed by the feminist movement.," she said.

Social media users were divided on Nora's statements, with many considering them to be ironic. "He got his bhabhi 3 for the next installment of Jaanwar," wrote one of them. The second one stated, "Nora Fatehi saying how she believes women should be nurturers and men should be providers, and patriarchy ain't a bad thing, and feminism has destroyed the society... sitting on a chair, as a woman who is striving to have a better career in the industry everyday is ironic."

"Then, girl, quit your job and get married. Instead of dancing to item songs to make a living, which feminists also assert is your right, find a male breadwinner. Such foolish behavior," remarked another person.
