    Porn Film Case Update: Raj Kundra Paid Rs. 25 lakh to Mumbai Crime Branch to Avoid Arrest

    Mumbai: The mastermind behind the porn film case has alleged Raj Kundra paid Rs 25 lakh bribe to Mumbai Crime Branch to avoid getting arrested.





    Reportedly, Arvind Srivastava alias Yash Thakur the kingpin of the porn racket that was busted in march had emailed the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) about  Kundra offering Bribe to the Mumbai Crime Branch to avoid arrest.





    In April ACB forwarded the report to Mumbai Police Chief’s Office however, there was no response on the matter.





     Notably, a case was registered on February 4 this year at Malwani Police Station in Suburban Mumbai but Kundra was arrested on July 19.





    As per the police report, a total of 11 persons has been arrested so far in case moreover, Kundra was booked under sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) of the Indian Penal Code and relevant sections of the Information Technology Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act.





    Moreover, the police tagged Kundra as the ‘key conspirator’ in the porn film case who was involved in the creation making of pornographic films and releasing them through an OTT platform named ‘Hotsots’.
