    Rakhi Sawant Dubbed as ‘National Crush’, Calls Kangana Ranaut’ Desh ki Gaddar’

    Mumbai: Actress Rakhi Sawant who loved to be in the limelight now has been acclaimed by her fans as ‘national crush’ and ‘queen of memes’ after mocking Kangana Ranaut in her Instagram post.





    The controversial queen, Rakhi, took to the social media platform to share a video of the Thalaiva actress from a recent appearance at the Times Now Summit, where she spoke about the Indian freedom fighter and how India got independence in 1947 as a ‘bheekh’.
    However, the video’s sound in Sawant post was changed to a dog’s bark. Rakhi captioned in her post, “Desh Ki Gaddar hai didi.”

    Soon Rakhi posted the video, netizens started pouring in from all sides. A fan of Rakhi praising her commented, “Aaj rakhi sawant hm sbki national crush.” While another user commented, “OMGGGG QUEEN OF MEMES RAKHI JI!! Love it.”





    In the comment section, some users defending Kangana wrote, “Rakhi ji ko bhi jalan hota hai kangana se.” Another user wrote, “don’t make me choose between you two please.”





    Earlier, during the event of the Times Now Summit, Ranaut stated in Hindi, “The freedom we got in 1947 is a ‘bheekh’, the real freedom we got in 2014 when Narendra Modi-led government came to power.”
    Several political leaders, including BJP MP Varun Gandhi, slam Ranaut for her remark against the Indian Freedom fighters.





    Moreover, the BJP MP asked the actress whether her remark was ‘madness or treason’.





    Amid all the controversy, Kangana, who recently received the Padma Shri, said she would return the award if anyone could prove that she has disrespected martyrs and freedom fighters.





    On the work front, Kangana was seen last in ‘Thalaiva’, which received a positive response from the audience and the critics. Next, she is a line-up of films that includes “Dhaakad’, ‘Tejas’ and ‘Sita’: The Incarnation.
