Randeep previously discussed the Boycott Bollywood culture and claimed that it had little bearing on the release of films. He said, "This boycott culture on Twitter, Indians or the movie-going major audience is not much on Twitter and I don't think this affects them, in a conversation with Pinkvilla. It might be related to what they produce and what the public may desire. Therefore, I believe that we frequently commit the error of catering to an audience when we don't know them."

"Because art consumption is a personal activity and must be approached in an individualistic manner to reach people, it will naturally convert into something the moment we begin telling stories from our point of view and using ourselves as the audience. Going generic could result in you not connecting with anyone "the actor said in conclusion.
