Rhea Chakraborty says there is a 'sense of fear' in Bollywood in hiring her post drug case
Rhea Chakraborty returned to the entertainment industry by playing a gang leader in the reality game show MTV Roadies: Karm Ya Kaand.

Digital Desk: Actress Rhea Chakraborty admitted that following her infamous drug case, makers are still afraid to offer work to her. After Sushant Singh Rajput, Rhea's boyfriend, passed away in June 2020, she was arrested in September 2020 for a drug-related offense by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). The actor was held at Byculla jail as an undertrial for 28 days before being released on bail. Rhea had court relief earlier this year when the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) decided not to challenge her bail in the Supreme Court.

When asked if people are afraid of hiring her, the actress recently talked with Mid-Day and responded, "I feel there is still a sense of fear on that front, but I'm hoping it normalises soon. In all honesty, a lot of it has subsided, the power of trolls is gone." Rhea returned to work earlier this year, joining the Roadies 19 adventure reality show as a gang leader. For the actor, working on Roadies was a return to her roots. Rhea began her professional life as an MTV VJ. The actress is being severely trolled even though she was granted bail in the case.

In addition, Rhea admitted that she is one of the most trolled celebrities on social media, but that her family's encouragement helped her to handle the abuse with bravery. "I'm not sure. I continue to be among the most often targeted online users. But kindness was seen at the centre of the storm. My friends came together to support me and my family both monetarily. and emotionally. That gave me courage."

"Perspective shift. #rhenew" was the caption Rhea Chakraborty wrote on a video she released in October discussing her time spent in jail. Rhea stated in the video, "You are basically taken out of society and assigned a jail number because you are seen to be inappropriate for society. Therefore, this personality of yours or the things you've made up about yourself are totally shattered."

Regarding work, Rhea Chakraborty returned to the entertainment industry by playing a gang leader in the reality game show MTV Roadies: Karm Ya Kaand. In the end, the actress defeated Prince to become the show's victorious gang leader.
