Digital Desk: Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is preparing for her upcoming films, was bruised on the set while filming action sequences. Taking to Instagram stories, the Oo Antava star shared a photo of injured hands from the set. Her hands are covered in blood stains and have wounds. Sharing the picture she wrote, "Perks of action."

Samantha worked out even though it was eight degrees Celsius in Nainital. Even after her battle with Myositis, she never misses an opportunity to share motivational fitness videos with her fans. She showed a video of her boxing workout. In the video, she is seen practicing boxing moves in the cold with action director Yannick Ben. She was spotted wearing peach athleisure.

Sharing the video, she wrote, MY FAVOURITE MAN @YANNICKBEN. LETS GO!!"

Meanwhile, she will be seen in the film Shaakuntalam. The film will be released on April 14th. It was supposed to be released on February 17, but it was postponed yet again for unknown reasons.

The film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil on the new date. Gunasekhar, who is also the film's co-producer, wrote in the caption, "The Love that was forgotten... An unforgettable tale of Love that remains. Mark your calendars - #Shaakuntalam releasing in theatres worldwide on April 14."  Based on Kalidasa's work, Shaakuntalam tells the story of Shakuntala and her courtship with King Dushyant, as well as the curse of rishi Durvasa, which caused Dushyant to forget his love for the 'apsara'-like Shakuntala.

Aside from that, she will be seen in the upcoming romantic film Khusi, opposite actor Vijay Deverakonda, and in the action thriller web series Citadel, alongside Varun Dhawan.
