Digital Desk: Late actress Tunisha Sharma's mother claims that days before her murder, she had a fight with her then-boyfriend Sheezan Khan, which turned physical, and Sheezan slapped her. Tunisha died on Saturday evening, two weeks after their breakup, and the death was ruled a suicide by the police. Sheezan was later arrested for abetment and is currently in police custody.

Tunisha's mother, Vanita Sharma, spoke to the media in Mumbai about the matter on Friday morning. "Tunisha cannot kill herself. I just don't know what happened in those 10-15 minutes. God knows what he did to my child because it happened in Sheezan's makeup room. Sheezan slapped her the day they broke up, and she cried a lot, saying he used her. Sheezan also forced my daughter to convert to Islam. At first, she told me that she liked Sheezan," she said.

Tunisha was found hanging in a makeup room on the set of her show Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul, in which Sheezan was her co-star. She was taken to a Vasai hospital but was later declared dead. Sheezan was arrested and taken into custody after the actress's mother filed a complaint against him. "I just want to know what happened that day, what led her to take this decision. We spoke, and in half an hour, I don’t know what happened. Sheezan brought her down, and they didn't call an ambulance," Vanita added.

Earlier last week, Sheezan's police custody was extended by two days. Tunisha was cremated on Tuesday in Mumbai. Sheezan's sisters, actresses Shafaq Naaz and Falaq Naaz, also paid their respects at the crematorium. Sheezan's family has claimed that he is innocent and that the truth will be revealed. His sisters claimed earlier this week in a statement that they have complete faith in the judicial process and that Sheezan is cooperating with the police.
