Digital Desk: Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu, who last appeared with Shah Rukh Khan in the social comedy Dunki directed by Rajkumar Hirani, recently got married in a secret ceremony in Udaipur to her longtime partner Mathias Boe, reports said.
The pair got married on March 23 in front of close relatives and friends, according to the News 18 story. The insider for the portal said, "It was a very private wedding that was held in Udaipur. March 20 marked the beginning of the pre-wedding activities. The couple was adamant that they wanted their special day to be free of media attention. They wouldn't have it any other way because they are both well-known for being extremely quiet and reserved people."
The source mentioned that there were not many people at the wedding, but Anurag Kashyap attended the ceremony. He said, “Taapsee’s Dobaaraa and Thappad co-star Pavail Gulati joined the guests at her and Mathais’ wedding. Anurag Kashyap, who shares a rather close bond with Taapsee and has directed her in films like Manmarziyaan and Dobaara and produced Saand Ki Aankh also flew to Udaipur."
Regarding earlier rumors that she was getting married to her longtime partner Mathias Boe, Taapsee Pannu refused to comment. It has been reported that the couple will tie the knot in Udaipur in March in a small-scale Sikh-Christian fusion ceremony.
According to Taapsee, she has never clarified anything about her personal life and she won't do so going forward. As stated by the Pink actress in an interview with IndiaToday.in, "I have never given any clarification regarding my personal life and I never will."
The news that Taapsee and Mathias will get married in a private ceremony in March, attended only by their close friends and family, and without any Bollywood celebrities as guests, was first published by NDTV on Tuesday, February 27. Since they started dating more than ten years ago, the two have maintained a modest profile but have never been coy about it.
