Digital Desk: Tamannaah Bhatia has finally confirmed her relationship with Vijay Varma. In a recent interview, Tamannaah said Vijay is "a person who I care about deeply, and he's my happy place." She also accepted that sparks flew on the sets of their Netflix anthology Lust Stories 2.
In an interview with Film Companion, Tamannaah said about Vijay, "I don't think you can be attracted to someone just because they are your co-star. I've worked with so many co-stars. I think if one has to fall for someone, feel anything for someone, it's absolutely more personal; it has nothing to do with what they do for a career, I mean, that's not why this would happen."
The actor added, "He is someone I really look up to. He is someone with whom I bonded quite naturally. He is a man who approached me without any sort of safeguard. Then it became quite easy for me to let down my guard. We have this problem with high-achieving women in that we believe we have to work hard for everything. When something is so basic that you don't have to walk on eggshells to simply be yourself because I believe we have this in India as well where a woman has to change her entire life for someone. If you have to find a partner, you may have to physically move or do so many things to serve that person's comprehension, but I was like, I've constructed a world for myself, and here's a person who genuinely understands that world without my doing anything. He's someone I adore, and, yes, he's my happy place."

Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma's dating rumours gained traction after a video of them allegedly kissing at a New Year's Eve event in Goa went viral on the internet. Despite multiple public appearances together, the couple had kept their romance under wraps.
