Digital Desk: Actress Tripti Dimri showed up to put an end to rumours about her rumoured connection with film producer Karnesh Sharma on Friday when she published a photo with him on social media. Tripti and Karnesh have been rumoured to be dating for several years, but neither has confirmed or denied the relationship until now.
Tripti and Karnesh both shared a picture taken by film producer Saurabh Malhotra on Instagram Stories on Friday night. The duo is pictured in a close embrace. The caption was 'My hearts (emoji)' by Saurabh. Saurabh works as an assistant producer for Karnesh's company, Clean Slate Filmz.
Karnesh Sharma, the brother of actress Anushka Sharma, produced Tripti's debut film Bulbul as well as her most recent feature Qala. Both films are available on Netflix.
Tripti and Karnesh had previously exchanged images with one other on Instagram, sparking speculation about their romance. Anushka also posted photos of Tripti on her Instagram, adding fuel to the flames.
Tripti made her Bollywood debut in 2017 with Poster Boys and was next featured in Laila Majnu the following year. Her breakthrough came in Anvitaa Dutt's Bulbul, which was released in 2020. According to sources, Tripti and Karnesh began dating on the set of this film.
The actress received praise for her most recent film, Qala, in which she portrayed a Bollywood playback singer dealing with mental health concerns. Babil Khan, the son of late actor Irrfan Khan, made his acting debut in the film as well.
In terms of her personal life, Tripti was recently questioned if she is currently seeing anyone. "The ship has already sailed," she said after much consideration, according to ETimes. During the same interview, she also discussed her marital plans. "Not now; it will take me another 7-8 years," she stated.
Tripti presently has two films scheduled for release. One of them is Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna. This will be followed by Rola. Both films are scheduled to be released in 2023.
