Aamir recently broke his silence and discussed his divorce with Sanjeeda as well as the difficulties of being away from his daughter.

The legal separation was requested by the couple in the second part of 2020. A year later, in 2021, they were granted a divorce, and Sanjeeda Shaikh was handed custody of their child.
