Actor Siddhanth Kapoor strikes a selfie pose with a mysterious woman in his first Instagram post after bail in drug case

The Bengaluru Police detained actor Siddhanth Kapoor on Sunday night for allegedly taking drugs at a party in the city.

Digital Desk: Actor Siddhanth Kapoor, who was granted bail late Monday after being arrested in a drugs case, posted a selfie with an unknown woman on his Instagram Stories.

As mentioned, it's Siddhanth's first social media post since being released on bail after being arrested in Bengaluru for alleged drug consumption.

Siddhanth shared the photo with a heart, an evil eye, and a folded hand emoji. A mysterious woman is seen in the photo resting her head on Siddhanth's shoulder as he takes the selfie.

While looking at the picture, Siddhanth likely appears to be returning to Mumbai, where he lives with his family.

Bengaluru Police arrested Siddhanth on Sunday night for allegedly consuming drugs at a party in the city. Siddhanth reportedly partied at a hotel on MG Road when police conducted a raid based on a tip.

"Siddhanth Kapoor's medical records show that he used drugs." We've already arrested him and are following protocol. "We will place him in judicial custody," Mr Gulled said.

Siddhanth's father, veteran actor Shakti Kapoor, told us, "I am not aware of anything." I've just awoken from sleep, and my phone has begun to ring incessantly. He has not been arrested but has been detained by cops for consumption (of drugs). I don't believe there was any possession. I have as much information as is available in the news and am deeply troubled by it."

Siddhanth is the brother of Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor. She was also summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) to provide testimony in a drug investigation linked to the death of film star Sushant Singh Rajput in 2020.

The NCB investigation team had recorded her statement regarding the drug case related to Rajput's death and the Bollywood drug connections.
