Digital Desk: Actor  Allu Arjun, recently released on interim bail, received a warm show of support from friends and family following his arrest in connection with a tragic incident during the screening of Pushpa 2: The Rule. Celebrities including Rana Daggubati, Naga Chaitanya, Vijay Deverakonda, and filmmaker Sukumar visited his Jubilee Hills residence to stand in support of him. The bereaved’s wife Surekha also went to console Chiranjeevi her husband during these tough moments for the actor.

It can be recalled that the incident that merited his arrest happened on December 4 at Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of Pushpa 2. A large number of fans had gathered to catch a glimpse of Allu Arjun and when the actor was offloaded from his car, he obliged them by waving at them through the sunroof. The authorities claimed that the said gesture incited confusion hence causing the untimely demise of a woman identified as Revathi and causing serious harm to her son. As he sped up, launched Police claimed that the actor’s security personnel aggravated the situation in an attempt to open up space for his vehicle after being warned about the crowds.

“Allu Arjun, who was arrested on Friday night, was released on Saturday morning although the Telangana High Court granted bail.” During the media time after release, he was good enough and thanked his fans and condemned the death of the young lady. Thanks a lot to all of you for the love and support you have given me. For what has happened, It was an unfortunate incident, I am a law-abiding citizen and will fully cooperate with the authorities,” he said.

The actor also opened up about the incident at a success meet for Pushpa 2 to a correspondent. Later the legal team of Allu Arjun condemned that Allu Arjun’s release was delayed and termed it an act of unlawful imprisonment. He asked, Lawyer Ashok Reddy commented that there could be a legal complaint on a formal procedural irregularity.

The incident has raised another discussion and people including fans, celebrities, and politicians have come out in full support of Allu Arjun. As investigations are still ongoing, the actor is still friendly with the authorities intending to be remorseful and getting justice.
