Heropanti 2 vs Runway 34: IMDb Ratings Paint a Completely Different Picture in the box office

Despite this, both films have a mediocre start in theatres.

Digital Desk: This week saw the release of two highly anticipated films, Heropanti 2 and Runway 34. Both films are packed with action. Two big-budget Bollywood films have fought it out at the box office and are currently failing. Both films have gotten IMDB ratings in the midst of this.

Ahmed Khan's film, directed by Tiger Shroff, is a sequel to the 2014 film. Tara Sutaria and Nawazuddin Siddiqui star in the film, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the name of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. In addition, Kriti Sanon had a brief guest appearance in the film.

On the other hand, Ajay Devgn's Runway 34 is advertised as an edge-of-your-seat thriller based on a true story. In the film, Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh play pivotal roles. The film has wowed fans, critics, and the audience alike. It has received mostly positive feedback from all quarters.

The film scored an 8.8 out of 10 on IMDB, but Tiger Shroff's film Heropanti 2 received only a 2.4/10 rating. This demonstrates that people are dissatisfied with Ahmed Khan's direction, whereas Ajay Devgn's direction is garnering great feedback.

Despite this, both films have a sluggish start in theatres. When it comes to the plot, Runway 34 follows Captain Vikrant Khanna (Ajay Devgn), a young pilot whose flight takes a strange turn after taking off from an international location. Amitabh Bachchan plays lawyer Narayan Vedant, who interrogates Ajay's character in court when he is accused of endangering the lives of his passengers.

On the other hand, Heropanti 2 follows Bubloo Ranawat (Tiger Shroff), a computer whiz who assists people at night, and Inaaya, a self-made billionaire. Bubloo is tasked with locating Laila (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), the mastermind of the world's largest cybercrime to date. The film was widely panned due to its lack of plot and bad direction.
