Mumbai: Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starred much-hyped film “War” has been keeping up with their winning streak, after making a record collection at the box-office on the first day of its release. The film is being helped by the Durga Puja celebrations in the East as circuits like West Bengal and Bihar are recording strong collections but the boost is slow in comparison to region like Gujarat due to the ongoing Navratri.
According to latest reports in BoxofficeIndia.com, the action film has crossed the 100 crore mark on the third day of its release. The movie was released on October 2 across 3,800 plus screens in Hindi, English and Telugu and it is expected to put up in huge numbers over the weekend.
“War” directed by Siddharth Anand also features Vaani Kapoor and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles and shot across seven countries, revolves around Khalid, played by Shroff , whose face was imposed on a different person by plastic surgery to fool his mentor Kabir, an Indian Army man played by Roshan. The film boasts of jaw-dropping action sequences choreographed by international stunt directors Paul Jennings and Jack Reacher.
