Karan Johar revealed Twinkle Khanna was his life's love

Twinkle and Karan are childhood buddies; Twinkle is entirely devoted to her family and is a well-known writer.

Digital Desk: Karan Johar and Twinkle Khanna have known each other since they were children. Many people are unaware that Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia's adorable daughter Twinkle and famous filmmaker Yash Johar's son Karan attended the same boarding school. Since then, they've formed an unbreakable bond. In reality, Karan once conceded that Twinkle was the only woman he had ever fallen in love with.

Twinkle Khanna began her Bollywood career in 1995. In Rajkumar Santoshi's romantic drama Barsaat, she made her screen debut alongside Bobby Deol. Its total net gross collection was Rs 29 crores, and Box Office India labelled it a super hit. It was also the fifth highest-grossing film of the year.

However, after marrying Akshay Kumar, she stepped away from acting. Twinkle, who devotes her entire life to her family and children, is also a well-known author. At the launch of Twinkle's book Mrs Funnybones in 2015, Karan said, "She has the rare distinction of having played such a significant role in her life's history, and she is the one who made me fall in love with herself, a woman for the first and only time in my life."

Karan Johar has also blamed Twinkle Khanna for breaking his heart by declining Tina's role in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, saying, "I offered Tina's role in the film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, but Twinkle broke my heart by declining the offer of my debut film." Rani Mukherjee later took over the role."

Twinkle married Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar in 2002, and they have two children, Aarav and Nitara, while Karan is Yash-Juhi's single father through surrogacy. Karan Johar, as well as Twinkle Khanna, continue to stay close friends.
