Rajamouli's RRR in Hindi Box Office Collection Day 5 breaks record by making 100 Crores

SS Rajamoli's super-duper hit film RRR (Rise Roar Revolt) is a heroic saga where Jr. NTR and Ramcharan's acting made the public roar and cheered louder and broke the records at the box office as the film entered Rs 100 crore club with its Hindi version.

Digital Desk: People are always eager to know what will be the next thing present in the box of the most creative director SS Rajamouli; his mind full of creativity makes the Bollywood industry inferior, or we can say he is dominating the Bolly industry slowly.

Although his latest film RRR has two of Telugu cinema's superstars, NTR Jr and Ram Charan, Rajamouli's reputation for crafting magnificent films remains the film's main lure. When a Rajamouli picture is released, everyone in the country flocks to the theatres. Rajamouli is unrivalled in this regard. No other filmmaker in the country has been able to communicate with people across territorial boundaries, linguistic, social, cultural, and religious divides to this point.

Abstaining to date, RRR is causing a frenzy at the box office across India, following the astounding Popularity of Baahubali. By Monday, the film had raked in Rs 500 crore worldwide, and it shows no signs of slowing down this week.

    On Wednesday, Taran Adarsh tweeted, "RRR *HINDI* benchmarks…⭐ # SSRajamouli's third film to cross ₹ 💯 cr, #JrNTR – # RamCharan's first century ⭐ Will cross *lifetime biz* of #Baahubali [2015] in *Week 1*⭐ Sixth 💯 cr film [post pandemic], after #Sooryavanshi, #83TheFilm, #Pushpa, #GangubaiKathiawadi and #TKF."

According to Adarsh, RRR had its fastest Weekday since the pandemic began. It made Rs 17 crore on its first day of release, beating out The Kashmir Files (Rs 15.05 crore), Sooryavanshi (Rs 14.51 crore), and Gangubai Kathiawadi (Rs 14.51 crore) (Rs 8.19 cr).

The worldwide opening day collection of RRR has surpassed Baahubali 2 in all forms and formats, including 3D and IMAX. After accounting for inflation, RRR's first-day domestic box office collection has narrowly surpassed Baahubali 2's. RRR took in Rs 158 crore on day one, while Baahubali 2 took in Rs 152 crore, according to AndhraBoxOffice.com.

RRR's international box office haul fell short of Baahubali 2. According to the makers, the film's three-day gross is around Rs 500 crore, while Baahubali 2 grossed a stunning Rs 509 crore in the same period.

However, given the pandemic, achieving a Rs 500-crore opening in the weekend box office business is challenging. Nevertheless, it sets a new standard for the sector, which is still reeling from the devastation caused by the pandemic's three waves.

Let's see who can next beat the record set by Rajamoluli's RRR?
