    Digital Desk: Comedian-actor Raju Srivastava is still on life support in the ICU and his health condition is reported to be critical, said a source at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).


    There is great fluctuation in the actor's blood pressure the sources said citing doctors who is treating him.


    Raju Srivastava, who has been unconscious for the past nine days, was brought to the top hospital in Delhi on August 10 after suffering a heart attack while working out in a gym.


    His manager earlier this week stated that the actor's health has slightly improved.


    Last week, Srivastava's family posted a statement on his official Instagram page stating that his status was "stable" and asked people to "ignore any rumours/fake news being disseminated."


    Last week, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke with Raju Srivastava's family to inquire about his health.


    The 58-year-old comic collapsed while exercising on a treadmill after complaining of chest pain. His trainer rushed him to AIIMS, where he received CPR twice and was brought back to life.


    Srivastava, one of the country's most successful stand-up comedians, is a popular name on television. 


    The comedian, who has been in the entertainment industry since the late 1980s, gained popularity after taking part in "The Great Indian Laughter Challenge's" debut season in 2005.


    He has acted in Hindi films including "Maine Pyar Kiya," "Baazigar," "Bombay to Goa," and "Aamdani Atthani Kharcha Rupaiya." He also participated in the third season of "Bigg Boss."


    The comedian is the current chairperson of Uttar Pradesh's Film Development Council.
