Digital Desk: Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are about to embark on a new chapter in their personal lives, as the pair are expecting their first child.
On March 21, they announced their pregnancy with a loving image of Sonam Kapoor laying with her head on Anand's lap and her hands cradling her Baby bulge. Since then, the couple has made a point of savouring every moment of this new chapter of life.
While the path of pregnancy and motherhood is lovely, it also has its obstacles, and the actress discussed both sides of the coin. When discussing the positive aspects, she stated, "While being tough, the journey of becoming a mother is an enriching experience. I am being pampered by all my family members and friends, making this phase very special. I am most excited about becoming a new mother very soon and showering all my love and care for the baby. I am sure the new chapter in life will be very challenging but equally wonderful."
However, she acknowledged the difficulties of the travel and pointed out, "We are thrilled and ready for our new phase of life. However, this journey to motherhood has been rather tough, particularly the first three months. They were difficult in ways I wasn't expecting. No one ever tells how challenging this journey would be. My body is changing every day, in addition to nausea and exhaustion. It has also affected my sleep routine, such as sometimes I have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, and then there are days when I can't get out for 10-12 hours straight. Despite all these changes, I've never loved, embraced, or cared more for my body and wellness than now."
Sonam Kapoor, a genuine fashionista, has been setting some huge pregnant fashion goals and her picture sessions are just stunning. She and Anand just went on a babymoon, and their baby shower in London in May was a blast.
Even Sonam's admirers are thrilled to see the actress take this new step in life, just as much as Sonam and her family are to welcome their new family member.
