New Delhi : Superstar Akshay Kumar’s Navratri special gift for the fans came in the form of his upcoming film’s first look named “Laxmmi Bomb” which was shared by him in twitter. The film will release on 5th June 2020 where the actor plays the role of a transgender.
In his tweet, Akshay wrote, “Navratri is about bowing to the inner goddess and celebrating your limitless strength. On this auspicious occasion, I am sharing with you my look as Laxmmi. A character I am both excited and nervous about… but then life begins at the end of our comfort zone… isn’t it?”
In the still photograph, Akshay is seen draped in a crisp nine-yards sari as he looks with a cold gaze towards the camera which will send a chill down everyone’s spine. The much awaited film is a remake of 2011 Tamil horror comedy “Muni-2 : Kanchana”, which is a story about a timid boy named Raghav who gets possessed by the spirit of a transgender Laxmmi.
The film is directed by Raghava Lawrence, who made the Tamil film and also featured as the protagonist in the said film.
