"This side of my face is completely paralysed": Justin Bieber suffering from partial face paralysis

Notably, this is the third time he has postponed his tour; the other two times, he cancelled due to covid-19 pandemic.

Digital Desk: Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber informed his fans on Instagram that he has been diagnosed with 'Ramsay Hunt Syndrome', which causes partial facial paralysis.

Hours before his scheduled performance in Toronto, the 28-year -old singer declared that he was cancelling his Justice World Tour due to his illness.

When the facial nerve near one ear is affected by shingles, the Ramsay Hunt Syndrome develops. This can cause paralysis of the face as well as hearing loss.

"As you can see, this eye is not blinking, I can't smile on this side of my face, and this nostril will not move," Bieber said in the video.

So this side of my face is completely paralysed. So, for those who are disappointed by my cancellations of the upcoming events, I'm not physically capable of conducting them. As you can see, this is a serious situation," he added.

Further, the pop star added that he is doing facial exercises and taking time to recover fully. "I am resting so that I can go back to 100 per cent for what I was born to do," he said.

However, the singer did not give a specific time period for his comeback.
