Suspected to have strayed from the local zoo, the deer ventured onto the highway in search of food, capturing the attention of onlookers and sparking worries about its safety in such an environment.
According to the sources, the deer fell victim to a savage dog attack, highlighting the dangers faced by wildlife navigating urban landscapes. Despite the efforts of police and forest department teams dispatched to the Narikal Bari area, the injured deer could not be rescued, reports suggest.
