Digital Desk: Delhi reported its fifth case of monkeypox on Saturday after a woman admitted to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital tested positive.
An African woman, 22, who is 22 years old, tested positive for the virus. One month earlier, the woman had travelled to Nigeria.
Her reports, which confirmed that she was positive, were submitted on Friday night after she was brought to LNJP Hospital two days prior. She is the second woman to develop the virus in the national capital.

A medical staff, according to Dr. Suresh Kumar of the LNJP Hospital, is in charge of the patient's care.
The Union health ministry published a list of dos and don'ts to prevent monkeypox in light of the country's increasing monkeypox cases. It further emphasised that anyone can contract the virus if they come into contact with an infected person repeatedly or for an extended period of time.
The ministry recommended using hand sanitizers or washing hands with soap and water to prevent the transmission of the disease, keeping hands and mouth covered with disposable gloves when near patients, and using disinfectants to sanitise the area surrounding them.
