Digital Desk: In the last 24 hours, India has seen 2,858 new cases of covid-19, with 11 dead due to the infection.
According to data released by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday (May 14), the country witnessed 3,355 discharges in the past 24 hours, bringing the total recovery rate to roughly 98.74 per cent and total recoveries to 4,25,76,815.
The number of active Covid-19 cases in India has decreased to 18,096. There were 18,604 active cases registered yesterday, as per the data released by the ministry.

On Wednesday, Delhi had 970 new Covid cases with a positive rate of 3.34 per cent and one death.
