    Amarnath Cloudburst Updates: Five Killed, Several Tents Washed Away




     Digital Desk: In Jammu and Kashmir today, a cloudburst happened
    close to the revered cave sanctuary of Amarnath. No casualties have been
    reported as of yet. Rescue efforts are in progress. 

    A cloudburst is a sudden,
    intense downpour of rain that can cause flash floods and is occasionally
    accompanied by hail and thunder.



    Amarnath cloud burst: Nine more people have died



    Nine dead have reportedly been found after today's cloudburst
    near the Amarnath cave, according to rescue personnel.



    at Around 5.30 p.m., Amanarth cloudburst occurred.



    After a period of intense rain, a cloudburst was reported to
    have struck the cave area at around 5.30 p.m.



    Rescue efforts are in progress.



    The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the State
    Disaster Response Force (SDRF) are conducting rescue operations.
