Assam government employees will receive their paychecks as a joyful surprise before Durga Puja. This decision was made because of the ongoing holidays starting on October 2.
Digital Desk: Ahead of the forthcoming Durga Puja festival, the Assam government has decided to start paying its employees' salaries on September 29.
The step was counted on due to the fact that the holidays began on October 2.
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma posted on Twitter, saying, "To guarantee State Government employees can celebrate Puja season without interruption, we've decided to start paying salaries from 29 September onward, since there are continuous vacations from 2 October. This is a gesture of gratitude for their passion and devotion. We have concerns for our staff! ”
It should be mentioned that, in light of Durga Puja and the upcoming holidays beginning October 2, Sarma requested that pay be disbursed starting September 29 to allow state government employees to fully enjoy the puja season.
He also stated that this action is in recognition of government employees' effort and dedication, as well as the administration's concern for them.
