    IAF's MiG-21 fighter aircraft crash: Two MiG-21 fighter pilots died in a crash near Barmer, Rajasthan

    Both pilots of the MiG-21 Trainer aircraft were killed in the crash. The IAF deeply regrets the loss of life and expresses its condolences to the bereaved families.


    Digital Desk: An IAF MiG-21 fighter jet crashed on Thursday in Rajasthan Barmer, killing both of its pilots. Around nine o'clock was when the incident happened.


    Rajnath Singh, the defence minister, discussed the MiG-21 crash in Barmer with Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari.


    In the MiG-21 Trainer aircraft crash, both pilots succumbed to death. According to the Indian Air Force (IAF), a court of inquiry has been appointed to determine what caused the accident. 


    IAF expresses sincere condolences to the bereaved families and regrets the loss of life.


    A rescue crew has been sent to the crash site.


    According to reports, the wreckage from the crash spread over a one-kilometre radius.


    "It was an IAF plane that crashed near Bhimda village in Baytoo," said Lok Bandu, the Barmer District Collector.
